Workstation bridge crane systems have tractor drives as an optional feature or to convert from manual operation to a motorized bridge crane or motorized hoist trolley arrangement. Tractors are usually utilized with workstation cranes when trying to access difficult to reach areas such as larger machines or work tables. Tractor drives also assist when lifting larger capacity loads on long span workstation bridge cranes where manual movement becomes difficult.

Features
Tractor drives are furnished as single speed with soft start acceleration control. A tractor drive is utilized for straight travel on bridge cranes or monorails for 600 and 700 series track (1000 to 4000 lb. capacities). Tractor drives are available with standard speeds of 35, 50 and 75 fpm (feet per minute). Tractor drives are 208 to 575 volts, three phase, 60 hertz, with electric operation.

Customization
Tractor Drives are available with optional multi-speed inverter controls. SPANCO tractor drives are available with other speeds as well as the standard offerings.
