SPANCO Workstation Jib Cranes work best for light capacities yet offer the same benefits as a Freestanding Jib Crane. These lighter jib cranes come with a hoist trolley and only require a 6" reinforced concrete floor.  Optional portable bases are available to make your Workstation Jib Crane portable.  For even lighter capacities, try the affordable Tie Rod Workstation Jib Crane with capabilities up to a 1000 lb capacity.

SPANCO Enclosed Track Workstation Jib Cranes come in two styles:

Freestanding Workstation Jib Cranes

  • Capacities from 100 to 1,000 lbs.
  • Standard spans up to 16 ft.
  • Standard under boom heights to 12 ft.
  • 360° rotation.
  • Utilizes square or hexagonal base plate mounting secured by anchor bolts to your existing floor or a special foundation, as required by the loading condition. (Anchor bolts by others, or as optional equipment.)

Wall Cantilever Workstation Jib Cranes

  • Capacities from 100 to 1,000 lbs.
  • Standard spans to 16 ft.
  • 200° rotation.
  • Wall or column mounted (requires structurally adequate wall or column support).
  • Bronze bearings at the pivot points ensure easy rotation.
  • Shim stock up to 7/32 in. ensures jib alignment through the pivot axis, which reduces unwanted boom drifting.

SPANCO Enclosed Track Workstation Jib Cranes are designed for light duty applications. Capacities vary up to 11,000 lbs. and spans reach 16 feet. Circular coverage workstation jib cranes offer 200º or 360º of rotation. Workstation jibs offer easy, ergonomic movement for applications requiring repetitive lifting and transferring of loads. An operator could be pushing a 1000 lb. load; however, the operator will experience the force of approximately 10 lbs. to begin moving the load and 8 lbs. to continue moving the load (100 to 1 ratio). Also, a manual crane operates more quickly than a motorized crane.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

The maximum weight of the application should match, NOT exceed, the workstation jib crane design weight. The capacity rating is based on a design load which includes the capacity rating of the crane plus 15% of the capacity for the weight of the hoist and trolley. The SPANCO design criteria for workstation jib cranes allows the least amount of lifting deflection so as not to hamper the performance of the enclosed track workstation jib crane
